Pilates / Yoga / "30 & 30"
 

Pilates is a controlled, movement-based exercise program that incorporates aspects of martial arts, yoga, dance and gymnastics to condition the body. Pilates consists of a series of precise, controlled movements which strengthen the "core" muscles of the body - the abdomen, back and buttocks – without stressing joints and ligaments. The concept behind Pilates is that if the center of the body is strong, the whole body will move efficiently. The result is more strength and stability, greater range of motion, flexibility and muscle balance.

Class Times & Locations

Yoga is a mat class. The instructor will advise you at the 1st class on which type mat to bring. Stretch, open, breathe, revitalize! Learn yoga postures while experiencing the benefits of relaxation, serenity and improved fitness. Relaxation techniques are incorporated to enhance mind/body awareness.

Class Times & Locations

 

"30 / 30" will feature a variety of health-improving exercises. The first 30 minutes of the class will focus on cardiovascular workouts designed to strengthen your heart, burn calories and increase endurance. All participants will be encouraged to work at their own pace! The second 30 minutes will consist of abdominal toning and stretching. You will leave class feeling exhilarated but not exhausted.
