Pilates is a controlled, movement-based exercise program that incorporates aspects of martial arts, yoga, dance and gymnastics to condition the body. Pilates consists of a series of precise, controlled movements which strengthen the “core” muscles of the body – the abdomen, back and buttocks – without stressing joints and ligaments. The concept behind Pilates is that if the center of the body is strong, the whole body will move efficiently. The result is more strength and stability, greater range of motion, flexibility and muscle balance.

Learn yoga postures while experiencing the benefits of relaxation, serenity and improved fitness. Relaxation techniques are incorporated to enhance mind/body awareness.
