AQUA BOOTCAMPThis class is full of fun and energizing activities designed to help you reach your fitness goals now! The exercises are performed in water that is chest deep and no swimming skills are needed to participate. Regardless of your age, size, or fitness level, you can achieve very noticeable results. Whether you are a beginner, an avid fitness enthusiast or simply looking for a new type of workout, this aquatic adventure is for you! Aqua Boot Camp can be an excellent workout for those whose schedules allow just one day a week to attend. Or, it can be a wonderful addition to participating in some of our other programs. One thing is certain – you will have a blast!
AQUA BOOTCAMP – DEEP WATERThis class will be held in the diving well (deep water) of the pool. Flotation belts (provided) will be used. Instructor Darrell will put you through the paces in this 30 minute high intensity class. Core strengthening, cardio and range of motion exercises will be stressed to help you reach your fitness goals now! Regardless of your age, size, or fitness level, you can achieve very noticeable results. No swimming skills are needed however a comfort in deep water is a must.
AQUA HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAININGHigh intensity interval training (Hiit) alternates short periods of intense exercise with less-intense recovery periods. Some of the proven benefits are: increased metabolism, fat burning, weight loss and improved cardio respiratory fitness. Add the resistance of the water and you also benefit from improved muscle tone.
Combining the Zumba philosophy with vigorous aqua exercises this is one pool party you don’t want to miss! The water’s resistance cushions your feet, knees and back as you dance the class away! Classes are held in shallow water (chest deep) for a great low-impact but challenging workout.
A no-impact and high intensity program which emphasizes cardiovascular strength and endurance as well
DEEP WATER RUNNING AND CONDITIONING
as flexibility, range of motion and core strength. Classes are held in the deeper water of the pool and participants will use flotation belts. No swimming skills are necessary. This program will be of particular benefit to runners and other active exercisers who are looking for a challenging workout as a no impact alternative to conditioning on land.
