Dear Deb and Nancy, My blood reports came yesterday and I want to thank you both from the bottom of my heart. If it was not your fitness classes I would be on medication by now. the exercises that you make me do have fixed my thyroid numbers, my cholesterol numbers and my Blood sugar levels. Surgery was yesterday morning home now thinking of you and appreciating all the strength training and legs and agility training you gave us.  I’m hopping along on my left foot ,huge cast on my right foot and using the walker.  moving the walker and taking a step with my left foot along the way great strength training and balance stuff for standing on one leg  Nancy thank you on your end.

Trying to be chic and fancy wearing heels, etc. and then slipping on a restaurant floor…thank goodness nothing serious happened.I can honestly say that by taking your classes, etc. I was able to get up and walk away with just some bruises and a sprained foot. Thank you Nancy and WYWF team!!

There s a huge difference in senior citizens who exercise and those who don t. Water exercisers move with minimal stiffness, have fewer joint replacements, and are sharper mentally.  They can pick up groceries, etc. for themselves because they have the strength, which keeps them independent as they age. Loved having you for our instructor Monday.  Hope to see you again soon.  Keep up the good work.

I want to thank you and all your staff for the classes I took at the Quince Orchard Swim & Tennis Club over the past 1 1/2 years. They are simply the best. They are well trained and they incorporate an appropriate level of friendliness between the instructor and the class participant. This carries over to the participants who develop a camaraderie amongst themselves after just a few classes. I not only benefited from the exercise, I also had fun.

Margaret and I have often said that of all the deep water classes we have taken over 15 or years, yours is the best.  On a smaller scale, of course, you remind me a bit of Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly, in that you no doubt work very hard to make something difficult look incredibly easy.  That is a talent and a gift.

I wasn’t looking forward to Thanksgiving this year, because at past family gatherings, by the time I have begun to prepare the food, I am in pain and have great difficulty walking.  I was so excited to not end up that way this time, and I attribute it to Deep Water Conditioning at Wet Yet Water Fitness.  I’m so glad I followed my arthritis doctor’s suggestion to participate in this activity.  I was surprised to see how much more stamina I had.  Another side effect has been improvement in my unsightly varicose veins, which is an unexpected surprise that I am thrilled with.  This type of exercise has helped both my husband and me to rid ourselves of aches and pains. Additionally, we have met many wonderful new friends.  We both highly recommend this class.

I just wanted to send an email to let you know that I truly enjoyed the deep water aerobics classes at the Quince Orchard Swim and Tennis Club.  My main instructor was Sharon and she was fantastic.  Unfortunately, I am going to be moving out of state in the next month or so once I sell my house so I will not be able to continue taking the classes.  I will miss these classes.  They were always a bright spot in my days.

I wanted to let you know that I think the instructors I’ve had this session (Marcy, Patty, and Bill) have been FABULOUS! Their routines, choreography, and enthusiasm have made their classes quite enjoyable. I enjoy the variety of music played and the different equipment we use in the water (i.e., bar bells and noodles). It’s so cool to see and feel my body changing as a result of these workouts. I’ve lost about 20 pounds since this summer and I know that my time in Marcy, Patty, and Bill’s classes (along with classes I took this summer with Lauren and another young man) contributed to that success.

I went to physical therapy in October for a couple of months.  The therapist, when I met her, noticed how strong I was.  She was very encouraging about my strength – which particularly shows up in my legs.  She kept trying to push them down and they just did not move.  The final appointment, she did the same tests she had done in the beginning and said, “you are in wonderful shape.  The reason you recovered so quickly (2 months) is because you exercise so much and are so active.”  Thank you, Nancy for offering a class that not only is my favorite class I have ever taken, but has greatly contributed to my excellent physical condition as a 71 year old.  How do I know it is my favorite?  Because it seems like when I get there, it lasts about 5 minutes instead of 45 minutes because it is so much fun!
